Kid's and junior learn to prepare and understand the basics of working with clay. How clay can take its form from other existing objects? Learn to join clay pieces together to form angled pieces or from organic shapes through making coils.

Nurturing
        the
 thinking child...

Touched by an Angle

Once a upon a time... The story goes... a man became upset with his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper because the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her papa the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The father was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty.

He spoke to her in a harsh manner, "Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?"

The little girl looked up at with tears
in her eyes and said,
"Oh, Daddy, it's not empty.
I blew kisses into it until it was full.

The father felted ashamed of himself, went on his knees, put his arm around his little girl and asked her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger and from that moment...

Whenever he felt discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from his little girl, take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of his child who had put it there for him...there is no more precious possession any parent could hold.

Where did I come from?

One day our Little niece Rita, went up to her mother and asked, "Mom, where did I come from?"

My sister in law stammered a bit, but finally got her composure. She thought it was time her daughter knew the facts of life.

So, she told Little Rita how the expression of love resulted in the beginning of life, how life developed in the womb and finally how a child was born.

As my sister in law gave the whole story,
Rita's eyes got wider and wider.

When She was finished, Little Rita said: "Wow, that's really neat. That sure beats what Uncle Rusty told me. He said that he came from Penang."

  Grandma's white hairs
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out on her head.

"Why are some of your hairs white, mum?"

Mum responded; "Well, every time you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white."

The little girl thought about it for a while, then said; "How come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"

 

Blood Circulation

A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said; "Now if I stood on my head, the blood as you know would run into it, and I would turn red in the face."

"Yes!" The class said.

Teacher: "Then why is it that while I am standing upright, the blood doesn't run into my feet?"

A little fellow shouted; "Because your feet isn't empty."

Never underestimate a
